What a fabulous mascot William was for us at Wealdstone.

William said: “My favourite bit of the day was meeting all the players and walking out with Terell Thomas.

“Meeting them in real life felt like a bit of a dream, it didn't feel real. I feel very lucky."

“My favourite player is Gabriel Breeze because he was really kind and he plays in goal which is what I enjoy doing! He also managed to save all the shots at goal Wealdstone had!"

Dad, Michael, said: "William had the most amazing day and loved his goody bag, which he got as we arrived.

“The organisation, detail and welcome by Wealdstone was fantastic. The coaches of the u'13s made William feel welcome immediately.

"Ronnie from Wealdstone was absolutely brilliant. He never left William's side. He made sure we got in to see and speak to all the players

“They really were a brilliant bunch and were so welcoming. He was absolutely chuffed to bits.

“The performance that followed was the icing on the cake of what was a great day for William, my dad and I.

“William was in the terraces singing away until the end.”

Absolutely fantastic, and well done yet again to the club staff (Carlisle and Wealdstone) and branch members who help to make such wonderful memories every time one of our mascots steps forward.
