Ullock Pike welcomes London Branch & Maggie's Cancer Care t-shirts
16 July 2025

Branch member Neil Nixon joined his lifelong friend Ian Teasdale recently for a day of taking part in an important ongoing fundraiser.
Ian has a stage four cancer diagnosis and is embarked on a last round of all the Wainwright fells, a project he calls Terminal Hillness.
The aim is to raise £21,400, which works out at £100 per summit, to establish a Maggie's Cancer Care base in north Cumbria, meaning those in need of counselling or other help in the area will no longer need to travel to Newcastle to access the services.
Anyone wishing to know more, or if you’d like to donate to this incredible cause, can find the JustGiving page by Googling "Terminal Hillness" + JustGiving, or by clicking here:

It never ceases to amaze us as to just how wonderful our Branch members are. Do you have a similar story – let us know and we’ll get it onto the website.
Thank you to Neil Nixon for getting in touch and for sharing this one with us – good luck Ian, from everyone at the Branch.
