A message of thanks
7 August 2025

Match day travel organiser Terry McCarthy popped into Brunton Park on Wednesday to present outgoing digital content manager Amy Nixon with an engraved pen, complete with the message ‘Amy, thank you for all the help that you have provided the London Branch over many years, CUSCLB’ as a token of our gratitude.

Amy announced last week that she was moving on from the club with a post on her social media channels.

"I'm sad to be sharing that after 14 years, my role at Carlisle United has been made redundant and I will be leaving the club ahead of the new season after choosing not to apply for one of the new roles," she said.

She went on to say that the club had been a “huge part” of her life and that she would miss the “many friends and colleagues” who have helped her over the years.

Branch chairman Dave Brown said: “Amy has been one of our main points of contact at the club almost from the moment she started working there.

“She’s helped with images and information at the drop of a hat and has shared our stories and updates on the official channels to give us a wider reach.

“I would like to say thank you on behalf of every Branch member and it goes without saying that we wish her the very best in whatever she goes on to do next.”
