​He's done it again - HTB editor John Bowman has come up with another cracking issue - number 338 - and your electronic copy is right HERE to download.

And, we're delighted to announce, it's a publication that now takes it's rightful place in football history.

'The City Gent' gang (Bradford’s fanzine team) have finally admitted that Hit The Bar! is the oldest continuously running football fanzine after their recent visit to the Leeds Library exhibition that covered these labours of love.

An expert there pointed out that the extremely long-running 'The City Gent' had taken a break and was therefore currently 40-years continuous, compared to the 50-years (not out) being enjoyed by our very own HTB!.

Now, we have to point out that the team at The City Gent have been fantastic over the years, it's been a very friendly rivalry, and we thank them for their investigation and confirmation of this news. 

We also thank and congratulate all of our editors over the years, and well done John for keeping this proud tradition going.
