Last weekend’s game against Forest Green was watched by 17 people at the Civil Service Club in Central London​ and it was fantastic for us to see new faces in amongst the more regular attendees.

​

Mike Jones was joined by his son Ash and grandson Mason (he’ll be our mascot at the Boreham Wood game) making it three generations of his family there to watch the game, and completely impossible for the rest of us to keep up with the Joneses.

​

Branch member John Hindmoor made his way to the CSC for the first time from Brentford, and one of our Branch founder members, Dave Spencer, joined us all the way from Brighton.

​

And it was wonderful to hear from Aidan Morris who, having googled ‘somewhere in London showing the Carlisle game’, was directed to the Branch website.

​

Aidan hails from Yeovil, but is working in London, and was delighted to hear, when he spoke to chairman Dave Brown that afternoon, that the CSC was indeed the place to be.

 

He was immediately invited along and enjoyed himself so much that he signed up to become a London Branch member before he left the group that evening.

​

He now joins the three other members we have in Yeovil, as well as the many others we have from that area of the country.

​

Meeting up at the Civil Service Club is a fantastic way to enjoy the games.

People tend to arrive early to enjoy some excellent reasonably priced food and to fine-tune the team talk ahead of kick off.

Tuesday 4 November - Carlisle v Halifax, 7.45pm ko, people there from 6pm
Saturday 21 November - Boston v Carlisle, 5.30pm ko, people will be there from 4pm

Please let chairman Dave Brown know that you'll be attending - remember that ALL Carlisle fans are welcome, so do bring your friends - it's useful to get a feel for numbers in advance so that we can book the correct type of room to accommodate the numbers.
