Brunel, unsurprisingly, loves his football (he also enjoys tennis and reading) and was delighted to be able to meet his favourite player Harrison Neal on the day.

Dad Mike said: “We just wanted to express our thanks and gratitude for making the day so special for Brunel.

“He (and myself, if I’m being honest) had a truly memorable experience.

​

“He was buzzing throughout the match and must have told all of his Under-9 team mates, plus their parents, about his mascot experience the following morning at his own game.”​
