A decent, functional boozer very close to the railway station. Family friendly, sells real ale and food. Last time we were there our information officer decided to have a wee kip after the match. Despite being tempted, Croxy decided not to waste his beer.

When We Last Met
Having been thrashed by Southampton at Wembley less than a month before, we lost 3-2 on our last visit to St Mary’s back in April 2010. Our Hit The Bar’s diarist had this to say on the matter at the time.
‘It looked as though we may be about to suffer as bad a defeat as at Wembley when the Saints took a 3-1 lead with about half an hour left. Madine scrambled a late consolation, to add to Harte‘s fantastic strike on the stroke of half-time, to make the score respectable. Great support from the 400 Blues fans keeps spirits high!’
