VHTB - 17/10/08
17/10/08 09:00
We have made another loan signing, a 21 year old goalkeeper, Ben Alnwick who will make his debut against Peterborough tomorrow. We have six players on the injury list now so it will be interesting to see the team selection particularly in midfield where we are most affected. Our website is now under going a refresh thanks to the efforts of Paul Parke.
Hereford 21st October 7.45pm kick off
For information on the ground and how to get there follow this link http://www.footballgroundguide.com/hereford.htm
Tickets are priced at :-
Seats - £16 for adults, £13 seniors, U16 £13 & £3 for U11's.
Standing - £14 for adults, £10 seniors, U16 £10 & £3 for U11's.
Colchester 25th October ko 3pm
For information on the ground and how to get there follow this link http://www.footballgroundguide.com/colchester_united.htm
For those travelling by train from Liverpool Street, groupsave is available at around £10 adults & £1 children. Meet at the Hamilton Hall PH at the station from 1100 with a view to taking the 1200. Groupsave allows complete flexibility of travelling times as long as travel takes place in groups of 4.
Our meeting place at Colchester for the distribution of tickets will be the Norfolk http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/67/6756/Norfolk/Colchester. This is very close to the railway station.
The major benefit of advanced purchased tickets is that they allow you to use the free shuttle bus that runs from near the train station to the ground. I would also suggest that those going by car consider parking at the railway station. This costs £2 for the day compared to the hefty £10 at the official ground car park. Like most new grounds, other parking options appear limited and the possibility of being ticketed or clamped seems high.
Tickets are priced at a steep £22 for adults and £15 for Under 18's and seniors.
I have ticket orders from Dave Croxford, Mike Carruthers, Rob Lawson, Tony Little, Dave Brown, Ken Hullock, Al Millington, Iain Davidson & Jim Lawman. The deadline for orders is 5pm Monday 20th October.
