We eventually got what we deserved yesterday when Michael Bridges again came off the bench to conjur up some magic. It felt like 14 v 11 as the officials wearing the same coloured shirts as Yeovil gave some strange decisions.

The deadline for the next issue is 1200 Monday 8th March so please contribute reports, letters and general craic. Colour pictures really enhance the magazine - not football action on the pitch because of copyright .Why not write a letter to the Editor. What is your reaction to the season so far ? Have you heard any Degsy Balls ? Has he made many recently ? Any Carlisle/Football jokes would also be welcome.

I am waiting for ticket prices but already have requests from Ken Hullock, Tony Little, Alan Millington, Dave Brown, Malcolm Roger, Dave Croxford, Iain Davidson, Mike Carruthers & Mick Simpson.
Several members have already booked trains with the most popular being from St Pancras on the 1115 going up and the 1825 coming back .

End of Season Celebrations
The group of 52 for the Millwall game have been sent a seperate message to confirm payment arrangements which will be taken out of the TDS on 20th March.
I have only a few places left at the Annual Awards Dinner at the Shepherds Inn on Sunday 3rd May at a cost of £33 per head. These are always great occasions. If you want to go let me know ASAP.

*** 8th March 1975 - 21,570 at Brunton Park saw United lose their first ever FA cup 6th rd game by a single goal to a Fulham team that included Bobby Moore ( reproduced with kind permission from ' On This Day ' ).
