We have been invited to join our friends from the Plymouth Argyle London Supporters Branch tomorrow from 6.30 at the Hoop and Grapes, 80 Farringdon Street, London EC4A 4BL.

Leicester (home) 13th December ko 3pm

Please order any tickets by 5pm tomorrow and remember to clearly specify which part of BP you want to go in and ages of children if applicable. Unless specified upon ordering, tickets will be distributed at the Linton Holme pub from 1pm.

Northampton 20th December ko 3pm

There will be a buffet at 1315 at the Thomas A Beckett for the players and those who have booked match tickets. If anyone else would like to be catered for please let me know.

For those travelling by train the groupsave train will be the 1146 from Euston at a cost of £11.20 for adults and £1 for children please contact Alan Millington at information@carlislelondonbranch.org.

Peterborough 7th February ko 3pm

Groupsave train will be the 1122 from Kings Cross using the First capital Connect service ( groupsave not available on North East Express ). These trains stop at Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage where we have several members. If you are looking at doing the trip by train and want to do groupsave please let me know. Please bear in mind that a supporters match has been arranged against Peterborough fans for 10.30am.

Summer Trip

The 2009 London Branch Summer Trip will be to Cologne for three nights, departing on Friday 12th June 2009. If you are interested in going and have not yet contacted Mike Carruthers please do so ASAP. If you are unable to confirm your attendance at this stage, you can contact Mike later and he will endeavour to reserve accommodation for you at the same hotel or, if this is not possible, will arrange accommodation at a nearby alternative hotel.

*** 10th December 2002 - Robinson & McCarthy score the goals in a 2-0 victory over Wrexham putting United into the Northern semi-final of the Football League Trophy ( reproduced with kind permission from ' On This Day ' ).

An improved second half performance following the introduction of Michael Bridges and a 4-4-2 formation at Swindon saw us salvage a point. You can only wonder if a more positive approach from the start may have produced a win ?
