The resignationof David Allen certainly did bot affect the team as we made it back to back home wins with a couple of long range specials from Kavanagh.
Fanzine of the Year
Make sure that Hit The Bar! wins the Fanzine of the Year Award in the Football Fans Census Fanzine Awards in 2010. The shortlist is decided by how many nominations the fanzine gets so we need you to email contact@footballfanscensus.com and name Hit The Bar! as your choice for 2010 The Football League Fanzine – Print. To see the winners for 2009 visit www.footballfanzineawards.com/winners.php. If we can get enough nominations the winners are decided by a judging panel which gives us an excellent chance. There are also awards for “Best Football League Fanzine – Online” and “Best Editor – Either Media” so send in your nominations for these awards as well.
Supporters' Game Saturday November 7th 2009
Ahead of the proposed game against Gillingham on 5th December a warm up has been arranged against some of Ryan “I got the winner at Orient” Wilson's work colleagues.

The idea being:
Game – Showers – Afternoon watching the goals fly in on Soccer Saturday
(OK, this is just an excuse for a game of footy and a social gathering.)

I do not have London Branch members 14 digit Teamcard numbers which I need to quote when ordering match tickets, thus accrueing loyalty points. Please therefore send me them if you use the Ticket Deposit Scheme. If you have renewed your LB membership you should have received a Teamcard posted direct to you by CUFC. Please let me know if you have missed out and I will chase it up.

Groupsave travel is available for this trip from Paddington to Bristol Parkway on the 1045 service at an approximate cost of £25 for adults. All children are £1.
250th Edition of HTB
The commemorative book will be heading off to the publishers shortly and hopefully available pre Christmas

A limited stock are now available for purchase priced at £15 each in sizes M, L, XL & XLL. These make for an excellent Christmas present.
Wherever possible we will look to distribute the shirts by hand at away games starting at Bristol Rovers but should you be unable to make any of the games we will arrange for them to be posted to you in time for Christmas.

There will be an event on 16th January after the Brentford game where we will celebrate the 250 isues. More information will follow shortly.
Branch Meeting - 35th Anniversary
Our next meeting will be only a few days after the 35th anniversary of the creation of the Branch.
The meeting will be held at 8pm next Thursday 19th November at the Civil Service Club. Please register your attendance with Alan Millington at information@carlislelondonbranch.org particlarly should you wish to join us for a meal at 6.30pm. All members welcome.

There will be a social gathering after the Gillingham game on 5th December at the Buckingham Arms , 62 Petty France, Westminster. If you want to attend please contact social@carlislelondonbranch.org
