Shirts for Sevens
Clarification from Sally Smith at the club on how the scheme that sees 7 year olds receive a CUFC shirt ( usually on the pitch at half time at a home game ) runs. " Any London Branch member on our system (the child must be a member ) who is 6 years old is written to at the start of a season asking if they wish to be registered for Shirts for 7's. They receive the form to register for shirts for 7's to be completed and returned at least one month before the childs 7th birthday, which allows us time to allocate a game (if they wish to have it presented) and organise the shirts from the shop. London Branch Members have been registering and receiving shirts (4 last season and 1 so far this season)".

Peterborough v CUSCLB - Saturday 12th March 2011
An update from Chris Tembey " I'm afraid to say that at this point final details are yet to be known. Part due to the fact that my contact has been across the pond with work, part due to the usual last minute nature of these things. However this game WILL be going ahead (cue return of Cold Snap/Snow/Earthquake to spoil things).
Please can you confirm availability (or not) for this match to me at football@carlislelondonbranch.org
I should imagine a likely KO of 10:30 and the usual few quid each to cover facilities etc. Obviously I'll be in touch with further details as they are confirmed. "

A signed football up for grabs
We have a signed CUFC football kindly donated and it's being auctioned off with a deadline of 1200 Monday 21st Feb. Postage is free. I'll take bids, so who will start me off with £15 ?
Social Evening - Tuesday 8th March
Don't be stuck at home biting your nails waiting for an update on the United v Hartlepool game. Join us at the Zepplin Shelter pub http://zeppelinshelter.co.uk/ for live commentary in a private upstairs room. We will have pool and darts available. There's a choice of 3 real ales and a buffet will be provided. Read Jugsy assessment based on a visit there this week and let me know if you fancy joining us.
