Your photos can also be published on our website if you send them to Paul at webmaster@carlislelondonbranch.org

A Message from Blues Fan Robin Ward

Just an update on the Wembley song. There is a 'Won It' version with a youtube video featuring Wembley highlights...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfkP6OxKaho

ALSO...

Fearne Cotton has been featuring the rap section heavily on her Radio One shows as she has decided to become a Carlisle United fan.
You may want to let your members know.

She hasn't credited the artist though - ha. http://ww.facebook.com/sketchyfox

I did a Wembley tour last week, and the lady at the ticket office let me in cheap as I had a Carlisle shirt on. Her husband is involved with the London Branch Supporters' Club. If you know who she is, please send a message of thanks. I really enjoyed the tour.

Hope you all had fun at Wembley!

Rare Carlisle United Programmes for Sale

Thanks to London Branch member David Spencer, we have acquired a great collection of 74-75 Football Programmes, as well as several mid70's and 04-05 (our season in Non-League).
Most 74-75 are in good condition and we are selling for under £4 each, and match tickets stubs are available with most of the 04-05 programmes.
As well as great reads, these are also collectors items, which Dave has asked be sold to genuine Carlisle Fans.
All proceeds will be sent to the London Branch, so if you are interested in purchasing these, please email Jugsy at programmes@carlislelondonbranch.org
and he will provide latest list. We expect these to sell fast so contact whiles stock lasts.

Next Supporters' Matches

The next game is at Dagenham on 30th April.

A further message from Chris reads as follows "Don't worry guys, I haven't gone mad. Like the proverbial London bus you wait months for one supporters game.....

....here's another one for you to digest. I have been approached and agreed (due to the fact I had to give an immediate answer!) to the following:

EVENT; HARLOW TOWN SUPPORTERS V CARLISLE UNITED SUPPORTERS CLUB (London Branch)
VENUE; HARLOW TOWN FC, BARROWS FARM
KICK OFF TIME; 11AM

Yes, expect the odd spectator.

Yes, Simon there will be a dug-out and technical area for you to prowl in.

Yes, the bar will be open afterwards.

I appreciate this is out of season and a Sunday morning but thought it too good an opportunity to miss out on.

Next season: The Emirates!

Please can you give me an idea of likely availability ASAP so that I can ensure we have enough players (ringers or otherwise) to make it a success - especially as the advertisement campaign has now commenced!

Safe Standing

Promote the Football Supporters Federation's petition in support of safe standing: http://www.fsf.org.uk/news/safestanding.php

It has collected over 8,000 names in just 2 days, but as the Premier League in particular is now saying that one reason to continue the ban on standing is that "there is no demand", it would be good to show that there is, in fact, very considerable demand.
