Player of the Season

Congratulations to our winners of the Player of the season and Champagne moment award. Details will be on our website tomorrow.

The player of the season award will be presented by Bruce vander at the awards Dinner .

We hope the Champagne Moment award will be presented on the pitch prior to the Walsall game at Brunton Park on 1st May by one of our Juniors James Brand.

Thanks to the kind donation from Steve Batey we are able to commemorate our Champagne moment for the season.

This is open to Junior members only ie under 17 on 1st July 2009. Please select from one of the 3 highlights from this season and reply to me.

*** 18 April 1992 - Only the 5th home victory of the season as goals from Holmes & Watson secured a 2-1 victory against Northampton ( reproduced with kind permission from ' On This Day ' ).

London Branch member, Nigel Moss, experienced a moment of fame starring in the video of England's work cup song, "We're England Underneath", he's the one in the Carlisle shirt (in case you hadn't worked it out).

The youngsters overseen by Graham Kavanagh sneaked our first saturday away win for 410 days at our lucky ground, with a big helping hand from the prolific Ian Harte.
