Congratulations to Tom Aldred from our Youth team who has been included in the Football League awards shortlist for apprentice of the year. He is one of several of the current crop of players in the Youth team who are top of the league and have a bright future.

This is a registered club with a £1 admission fee. It will be advisable to carry your LB membership card as the door staff are expecting us.

Groupsave train will be the 1122 from Kings Cross ( due in Peterborough at 1239 ) using the First capital Connect service ( groupsave not available on North East Express ). These trains stop at Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage where we have several members. If you are looking at doing the trip by train and want to do groupsave please let me know . Brighton 14th February ko 3pm

What better way to spend your valentines day than in the romantic setting of the Withdean ? This game will be all ticket priced at Adults £20, Seniors £14, 17-20 yrs £16, Under 16's £13 and Under 11's £1. Train travellers face the aggravation of replacement bus services between Three Bridges and Brighton. The groupsave plan is to allow plenty of time and get on the 1041 from London Bridge which calls at East Croydon at 1055 before taking a bus from Three Bridges to Brighton. Please register for groupsave and indicate which station suits you best.

The meeting place at Brighton will be the Evening Star http://www.eveningstarbrighton.co.uk/ from where it is a short hop again by bus ( free travel included in match ticket ) to the ground near Preston park station.

Mascots

Are there any Brunton Blues who would like to be mascots at Southern away games ? We have places for most remaining games, including Southend where the mascot has had to withdraw due to unexpected circumstances . End of Season Celebrations

We are proud to be the match sponsors for the final home league game against Millwall on Saturday 2nd May. Our package allows 40 supporters a pre match meal in Foxys , centre stand tickets and a programme . If you are interested in attending at a cost of only £25 per head please let me know. This offer is restricted to members only until 12th February when any spare places can be taken up by guests. Places are filling up fast. Summer Trip

The 2009 London Branch Summer Trip will be to Cologne for three nights, departing on Friday 12th June 2009. If you are interested in going and have not yet contacted Mike Carruthers please do so ASAP. If you are unable to confirm your attendance at this stage, you can contact Mike later and he will endeavour to reserve accommodation for you at the same hotel or, if this is not possible, will arrange accommodation at a nearby alternative hotel.
