Travel information
A strategy in relation to travel information has
been to post it on the website as soon as it is available. So where do we
get it from? A lot is based on previous trips, official websites and liaison
with local Football Intelligence Officers ( FIO ). A special thank you in
this respect goes to Ian Hodgson the CUFC FIO. He can put me in touch with
the FIO's of our opponents. I find their advice invaluable, as they after
all are involved in every match day and are able to pass the most current
information available. I know Ian well, and he has an exceptional reputation
in this specialised area of work.
I hope that members feel comfortable with raising suggestions based on what
they have experienced. If we have not recently been to a ground and no-one
suggests a meeting place, I will come up with a suggestion based on research
and the merits will be discussed at the Branch meeting.
Please take look at each of the destinations above and for those games
without information please feel free to make suggestions. If possible a
meeting place that caters for children and has food available are desirable.
I see the travel information as a corner stone of the Branch set up but an
area where we should always be looking to improve.
Likewise if we do not receive feedback on meeting places we can not aim to
improve on this service. So don't be shy and give me some feedback to
